Markus Muffler | CEO

Markus was born in 1963. He graduated in economic studies and from 1992-2003 worked for international banks in London and Frankfurt until 2003, when he quit the banking business and founded his own company. Markus is highly passionate about music and has been following musical developments, especially in jazz, for the past 30 years. In realising the project Between the Beats he has fulfilled a life-long dream. Markus is married and lives in Freiburg, Germany.

Louise Neill | Project Management UK

Louise Neill lives in Clapham, London with her husband and son. She worked in investment banking in London and New York for 10 years before leaving the banking world to concentrate more on her interests in music, design and photography. Louise plays the piano (jazz and classical music).

Jan Obri | Project Coordination

Newest team member Jan Obri lives in Freiburg and is currently completing his Master Studies in English literature and modern history at Freiburg University. He has worked in PR for the tent music festival Freiburg and for Freiburg theatre. Jan also worked for marketing agencies in London and Freiburg. In Freiburg he manages, books and co-ordinates several music-events. Born in 1981 near Pforzheim, Germany, Jan has been a life-long lover of music. His music repertoire is broad but with a clear focus on Indie. Jan also works in a record shop and as a DJ.
