From June 1-5, an exhibition of drawings and oil paintings of Miles Davis will be showcased at The Exchange Court Gallery in London.

In the early 80ies Miles Davis discovered his passion for art. His painting reflects his well documented fascination with and love of woman, together with evocations of African tribal art.Ā All the drawings shown in this exhibition are acquired from the private collection of Jo Gelbard, Miles Davis’ girlfriend during the last years of his life. Even famous artists like Prince, Phil Collins and Diana Ross are collectors of his work.
The date was chosen to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Miles Davis most famous and most successful album “Kind Of Blue”.
