The »Between the Beats Jazz-Festival« will take place in the impressive »Kultur & Bürgerhaus«, located in Denzlingen near Freiburg in Germany’s stunning Black Forest.

The venue has a unique ecological architecture in a beautiful location with spectacular views of the Black Forest. The premises (26,000 square metres) include extensive scenic grounds with a picturesque lake and wooden deck surrounding most of the building. The architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding greenery. Throughout the festival, there will also be an open stage for newcomer artists along with numerous information counters and superb gastronomical experiences.

The Big Hall (Großer Saal) has capacity for 1,000, with room for a further 100 in the gallery overlooking the stage. A large glass front provides light and ventilation. Cherry wood wainscot, oak parquet floor and acoustic sails produce fantastic acoustic conditions.

A second performance hall (Jazz Club) offers space for 150 people. Also with excellent acoustic properties and a modern yet intimate ambiance, this location is perfect for smaller, club-tour style concerts.
