The former E.S.T. bassist and his new project

Dan Berglund achieved world fame as the bassist of the wonderful Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.), the most successful European jazz band of the past decade. One and a half years after the tragic death of Björn Svenson, the Swede has now recorded his debut album »Tonbruket«. Berglund, and the group of musicians he plays with, have produced an album which lets the E.S.T. past shine through, but also has a strong rock influence. The protagonists are clearly fans of bands like Yes, Radiohead and Deep Purple.

With his unmistakably skilful playing style and impressive compositions Dan Berglund delves into phenomenal sound spheres like very few others can.
