Exclusive solo concert

Around the time of his 75th birthday the legendary pianist and composer, Wolfgang Dauner, will give one of his rare solo concerts at the »Between the Beats Jazz-Festival«.

Wolfgang Dauner achieved world fame with many different jazz groups – his first trio with Eberhard Weber and Fred Braceful, his bands »United Jazz & Rock Ensemble« and »Et Cetera« and as musical head of the »Radio Jazz Group Stuttgart«. In addition he composed the music for several TV series. During his long career Dauner has played with all of the major celebrities of the international jazz scene including Chick Corea, Bill Frisell, Albert Mangelsdorff, Jon Hiseman, Zarah Leander, Charlie Mariano and many more. In 2005 Wolfgang Dauner was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, first class.
