Kultur- und Bürgerhaus in Denzlingen bei Freiburg

In this section we offer you some useful information on and around the festival. This section will be extended over the following weeks.

Accommodation

In and around Freiburg and Denzlingen there are hotels and accommodation of all categories. We would like to recommend booking.com. On this website you can choose from various accommodation and book online easily.

Unfortunately, there is no camping site in the festival area and camping around the Kultur & Bürgerhaus is not allowed. The following camping sites are located near the festival area:

Bicycles

Free parking for bicycles at the festival site is ensured.

Box office

The box office in the festival area will be located near the Kultur & Bürgerhaus main entrance and is open on every festival day from 4pm. The additional charge on box office tickets is 10%. Please note that we only accept cash and German debit cards; credit cards and foreign debit/maestro cards are not accepted when buying tickets at the box office.

Eating and drinking

We are glad to offer our guests a great selection of food and drinks.

Delcanto
Delcanto is the culinary soul of the Kultur & Bürgerhaus. They offer tasty food as well as very fine cuisine, all made of best and freshest ingredients. Delcanto focus on a light and vital cuisine with Mediterranean and also very local roots.

Disabled information

Our aim is to assure every music lover access to the Between the Beats Jazz-Festival. This is why the outside section of the festival area, the Big Hall, the Jazz Club and the toilets in the Kultur & Bürgerhaus are fully accessible and appointed for disabled people. If your severely handicapped pass shows the information for an assisting person then this person will get a free ticket to accompany you.

There are only few parking possibilities around the Kultur & Bürgerhaus. Although, this is not the only reason why we would love to see you using public transport.

P1: Stuttgarter Strasse; 150 spaces
P2: Kultur & Bürgerhaus and Restaurant delcanto; 40 spaces
P3: Grüner Weg; 40 spaces
P4: Marked area, Glottertalstrasse; 200 spaces

Please note: parking alongside the Stuttgarter Strasse and Glottertalstrasse is not allowed.

By train
You can buy tickets on the website of the Deutsche Bahn easily. From Denzlingen train station it is a 15 minutes walk to the festival area. Alternatively, there are taxis standing by in front of the train station.

Travelling together
Using car pools is both environmentally friendly and enjoyable. Use one of many car pool agencies to go with somebody or take somebody with you.

L187 in direction Freiburg, Waldkirch, Glottertal (3,8km)
On B3 in direction Waldkirch, Glottertal (1,4km)

Exit Denzlingen, Glottertal (0,2km)
In direction Denzlingen (0,2km)
In direction Sportanlagen, Kultur & Bürgerhaus (0,6km)
Take the last exit of the roundabout and follow the parking signs (0,4km)

From east and Freiburg respectively:

On B3 from Freiburg-Stadtmitte to the north

By plane
Unfortunately, Freiburg only has a very small airport. The closest international airports are the Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg EuroAirport (approx. 50 min. from Freiburg by car) and the Baden-Airpark near Baden-Baden (approx. 1 hour 15 min. from Freiburg by car).

Lost and found

Lost and found items are held ready at the wardrobe in the foyer of the Kultur & Bürgerhaus.

Mobile phones

Please switch-off your mobile phone during the concerts.

Friday, September 24, 2010: festival area: 4pm, venue: 7pm to 12pm
Saturday, September 25, 2010: festival area: 4pm, venue: 7pm to 12pm

Pets

Pets are allowed in the outside section of the festival area. Please note: pets are not allowed inside the Kultur & Bürgerhaus and during the concerts.

Photo and video

We are legally obliged to tell you that photographing and filming during the concerts is prohibited. On the other hand, photografing and filming in the festival area and in the foyer of the Kultur & Bürgerhaus is allowed.

Responsibility

Please note that every festival visitor is responsible for self-caused damages.

Sightseeing

Denzlingen, Freiburg, the Breisgau as well as the Schwarzwald offer many sights. In this section we would like to recommend some useful and interesting websites.

Smoking

Smoking inside the Kultur & Bürgerhaus is not allowed. When smoking in the festival area please use the allocated ashtrays.

Tickets

Buying tickets
You can buy tickets at selected ticket agencies or online at our ticket partner's website ReserviX.

Tickets refund
Tickets will only be refunded if the show you wanted to attend is cancelled or postponed. In any other case tickets will not be refunded.
